Description

This artifact was created in GDIT706 - Developing a Learning Environment Using Information Technology with Dr. Carbonara in Spring 2019. We were asked to write a research paper that describes the application of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) Model to a curriculum in our discipline.

Reflection

This artifact is a research paper exploring the state of the application of TPACK to science instruction among pre-service teachers and in-service teachers. This paper discussed Mishra & Koehler's (2009) theoretical framework for the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Model (TPACK), and how it is applied to science instruction.

This artifact developed my ability to create a research paper based on the theoretical foundations of research design as well as my knowledge of the contribution of past and current research to TPACK and how its application to science instruction will improve student performance. This research paper will help researchers have a deeper understanding of the concept of TPACK and provide science teachers with insight on how to integrate technology into their teaching.
